Quotes

Boncon Group is on call to provide onsite or over the phone quotations / price estimations. In some cases a visual crack looks small with no depth, though when our technicians start gouging, the crack can be quite extensive to the original viewing. This is when we may not be able to give a detail quotation but more than estimation of labour rate , consumables and timeframe of completion. Boncon Group prides its self on fast and reliable service to all new and existing customers. We are available for one off jobs, ongoing maintenance work and contract work. Hear from some our clents on our Testimonials page.

Lancing

This technique is most often used on the pins and axles of large equipment such as cranes, ships and forklifts. The process is to remove seized pins with a specialized procedure. It can destroy the pin but the hole is undamaged. We can safely cut out any pin in any position, at any height.

Modify shipping containers into café’s and canteens

Structural Welding

A structural welder is a skilled worker who creates frames or skeletons for large structures such as buildings and machinery.. A structural welder must undergo extensive training to learn how to weld materials together safely and effectively.

Industrial Welding

Welding may be performed in many different environments, including in open air, under water and small confined areas.

Oxy – acetylene cutting, gouging and heating

We use these procedures to cut steel into shapes and to gouge out cracks for re-welding. We also need to complete pre and post heating techniques to high grade steel so that welding does not affect the structure of the steel. Example: Water and Ice (There is a join though you can’t see it, this is a cracking point if steel is not pre /post heated).

Tig Welding

TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. TIG welding is mostly used for critical weld joints, welding metals other than common steel, and where precise, small welds are needed. This process is slow but when done right it produces the highest quality weld!

Mig Welding

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, is a process that was developed in the 1940s for welding aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. The primary advantage of MIG welding is that it allows metal to be welded much more quickly than traditional stick welding techniques.

Arc Welding

An arc welding process uses a continuously fed consumable electrode that contains flux at its core that melts the base metals at the joint. Upon cooling, the welded joint is often stronger than the base metals.

Sub Arc Welding

Similar to MIG welding, SAW involves formation of an arc between a continuously-fed bare wire electrode and the workpiece. The process uses a flux to generate protective gases and slag, and to add alloying elements to the weld pool. A shielding gas is not required.

Flux Core Welding

Flux-cored arc welding(FCAW) - almost identical to MIG welding except it uses a special tubular wire filled with flux; it can be used with or without shielding gas, depending on the filler.
